Dustin Poirier has long since been thought of as one of the nicest men in MMA. He's always kept charity and philanthropy at the top of his to-do list and his newest feature is no different.

According to ESPN, the BMF challenger will be featured on an upcoming episode of My Wish a series on ESPN that "will feature stars from the NFL, MLB and the UFC. Since its beginning in 2006, the series has worked with Make-A-Wish to fulfill 79 sports-themed wishes for children with critical illnesses."

This is so up the alley for Poirier who is deep into charity in his hometown of Lafayette, LA.

Not a lot is known about the wish, but it will pertain to 17-year-old Alden Cary of Davidson, N.C., and is set to air on Tuesday, July 18 during the 6 p.m. ET editions of SportsCenter.

Here's the full line-up for the series:

  • Sunday, July 16 – Mike Trout/Los Angeles Angels
  • Monday, July 17 – Ja’Marr Chase/Cincinnati Bengals
  • Tuesday, July 18 – Dustin Poirier/UFC
  • Wednesday, July 19 – Josh Allen/Buffalo Bills
