Dilano Taylor returns for the 2023 season after going from challenger to near-champion in one season.

2022 welterweight finalist Dilano Taylor steps back into the PFL smart cage on Friday night in Las Vegas with a whole new outlook on his career.

Taylor debuted in the PFL last season when he appeared on The Challenger Series and earned his way into the promotion. He went 2-1 in the season before serving as a alternate and knocking out UFC Hall of Famer, Rory MacDonald to earn his spot in the finals.

His was a Cinderella story, making it from unsigned to one fight away from the million dollars. He would eventually fall to Sadibou Sy via decision but not before earning respect in the welterweight division.

This season he'll aim to make it back to the finals to become the 2023 champion and his first task will be Magomed Umalatov on the PFL 3 card.

Look for Taylor having a bone to pick and some doubters to silence in the 2023 season.
