Conor McGregor describes moment he broke Cowboy Cerrone’s nose, orbital bones

Conor McGregor remember back to 2020 when he fought Donald Cerrone at UFC 246.

When former UFC champ-champ Conor McGregor stepped back into the Octagon for the first time after a long layoff, fans weren't sure what to expect. But when he defeated Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone via some nasty shoulder strikes, we knew we were witnessing a comeback.

Now, more than three years removed from that moment, he's reliving the sounds and feelings of that epic moment.

"Listen to the sound of the breaks. The first one breaks the nose, then the following two break the orbital socket," he tweeted.

To date, that's the last win for McGregor. He's since fallen in back-to-back appearances against Dustin Poirier.

Now he's gearing up to fight Michael Chandler for The Ultimate Fighter finale at a date yet to be determined.
