UFC Nashville shines the spotlight on the bantamweight division, with Rob Font and Cory Sandhagen doing battle in the main event. Across the card, there are other fighters looking to carve their way into or higher up the rankings. Cody Durden is such an individual, and he’s the fighter to watch for this event.

Thirty-two-year-old Durden is heading into UFC Nashville for his second fight in 2023. He comes into this fight with seven years’ worth of professional experience, as his career started with a TKO victory back in 2016. Durden will bring a 15-4 professional record into this fight, which includes a current three-fight win streak.

Durden started his UFC tenure back in 2020. Since that time, he’s put together a 4-2-1 record in the Octagon. Those four victories came against Aori Qileng, JP Buys, Carlos Mota, and Charles Johnson. Jimmy Flick and Muhammad Mokaev were able to get their hands raised over Durden. His performances helped Durden reach the 13 position on the bantamweight rankings, a spot he’ll bring with him into his fight at UFC Nashville.

Jake Hadley wants to break into the Top-15

Jake Hadley will stand across from Durden for this fight. Hadley is 10-1 overall and made his debut for the UFC in 2021, when he made his way into the company via the Dana White Contender Series. He’s picked up two wins and one loss since making his debut. He’s riding a two-fight winning streak heading into this fight.
