Chase Sherman is out of his fight at UFC 287 due to a medical issue.
Just minutes before the UFC 287 fights were set to begin Jon Anik announced that the bout between Karl Williams and Chase Sherman was canceled due to a medical issue with Sherman.
Now Sherman's manager Abe Kawa has released a statement.
Unfortunately @ChaseShermanUFC had a medical issue and won’t be able to compete tonight. He tried is hardest to get in there but on the advice of the UFC medical staff they decided to hold him out and we respect that decision as his safety comes first #UFC287
