Best male Bellator fighter: Andrey Koreshkov

Andrey Koreshkov made his professional MMA debut in 2010, winning eight straight bouts in his native Russia before joining Bellator in March 2012. After impressing with back-to-back finishes of Tiawan Howard and Derrick Krantz, Koreshkov competed in the season seven Bellator welterweight tournament, defeating Lyman Good in the final at Bellator 82. Kroeshkov would lose in his title shot, however, getting finished by Ben Askren at Bellator 97.

Koreshkov returned to Bellator the next year and won the season 10 tournament before going on to defeat Douglas Lima by unanimous decision to win the Bellator welterweight championship at Bellator 140. Koreshkov made a successful defense of the belt against Benson Henderson at Bellator 153, but he dropped it back to Lima at Bellator 164.

Since the loss, Koreshkov has won three of four, the lone loss coming in a trilogy bout with Lima at Bellator 206 — the fight that marked the start of the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix.
