Bellator MMA returns to action this weekend with a double card, hosting one event on Friday and one on Saturday. Live from the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, HI, Bellator 295 will decide the bantamweight grand prix crown when interim 135-pound champion Raufeon Stots (19-1) defends his title against Patchy Mix (18-1) in the final this Saturday, April 22.
A victory for either man not only guarantees a title shot but gives them the opportunity to call themselves the best bantamweight in all the Bellator roster once they receive that coveted grand prix title, which also comes with a hefty 1 million dollar prize.
Along with the monumental finale to the bantamweight grand prix, a pair of former Bellator champions fill out the rest of the main card. The first ever Bellator women's flyweight champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane (12-2) takes on the no.2 ranked flyweight Kana Watanabe (11-1-1) in what should be a title eliminator. Meanwhile, former bantamweight champion Kyoji Horiguchi (31-5) takes on UFC veteran Ray Borg (16-5), who is making his Bellator debut.
