5. Brandon Moreno vs. Kai Kara-France 2

Current two-time flyweight champion Brandon Moreno was fighting for the interim title after losing the belt to familiar foe Deiveson Figueiredo. Kara-France was on a three-fight wins streak looking to join his teammates in adding another title to the gym wall. This would be the second time in three years these two have met in the Octagon, with Moreno victorious the first time. The co-main event of UFC 277 stole the show and started Moreno's journey back to being the best flyweight fighter in the world.

The first round was contested on the feet, with Kara-France landing the more significant strikes, but Moreno was pressuring more as the round ended. Moreno was the aggressor in round two, landing more significant strikes and threatening with high kicks.

Kara-France came out with more intensity in the third round and landed a takedown, drawing blood as Moreno ate some big shots. Toward the end of the round, Moreno landed a liver kick that hurt Kara-France and finished him on the ground with strikes, adding another belt to his collection.

Moreno would go on to unify the title from Figueiredo five months later and is scheduled to defend his title against Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 290, looking to avenge his loss from 2018. Kara-France is looking to bounce back against No. 7-ranked Amir Albazi, who he is scheduled to fight in June.
