12. The BMF is born when Jorge Masvidal KO'd Ben Askren

Not a single person saw it coming. Certainly not Ben Askren but it was very clearly planned and man, was it brutal.
The fight hadn't even started yet and Jorge Masvidal leaned casually agaisnt the cage with his hands behind his back, Askren poised to pounce.
But when the bell rang and Askren, the avid wrestler, went for a takedown, Masvidal nailed him with a flying knee that dropped Askren in just seconds. The official time was five seconds, the fastest in UFC history, but it was probably more like two or three.
Askren went stiff and lay on the canvas for quite a while while the audience sat stunned.
That KO sent Masvidal on a trajectory that would eventually see him crowned BMF champion.
