2. Donald Trump's fight knowledge and memory are impressive

From the UFC to boxing to specific fighting sequences, the former President of the United States showcased a well-versed knowledge of fights from the current time to the past. He specifically recalls the Usman vs. Edwards 2 fight and how convincingly Usman was dominating until Edwards landed the head kick that ultimately crowned him a champion.

"He was winning that fight by so much. It was over. And then that one kick and it was indeed over. So you never really know, you never really know. And I was little surprised and I give credit to his opponent because in the next fight he was you know fairly dominant. I was little surprised to see that. Usman is a great fighter and all of a sudden that ended, so you never know what happens,"

Near the end of the interview, Trump compliments the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC, Alex Volkanovski, and mentions his razor-tight loss against the lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev.

"At the same time Alexander is tough, although he lost the fight previous. A lot of people think he didn't lose that fight. There were a lot of people, talking about UFC now, cause I'm just saying how good UFC is, but there was a lot of people that thought he didn't lose that fight," Trump said.

The former president throughout the 38-minute conversation shares fight stories about Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Gennady Golovkin, George Foreman, Roberto Durán, Jorge Masvidal, and others.

Trump is truly a fight fan that watches as many events as he can and attends whenever possible.
