The Professional Fighters League is coming off what one could argue was its best season yet. In 2022 the promotion saw MMA’s biggest upset, new champions crowned and even one of its 2022 Challenger Series fighters made it all the way to the finals.
They’ve got big shoes to fill in 2023 and it starts this week.
The eight-week Challenger Series begins on Friday with the welterweights. In case you aren’t familiar with the format each episode features four fights. A panel of judges and the fans decide who from the winning four will earn a PFL contract.
