No. 9 ranked UFC featherweight Ilia Topuria is putting in work outside the Octagon in 2023.

On Wednesday a video surfaced that appeared to show Topuria defending himself in a bar fight in Spain. The video shows Topuria (white shirt) standing in front of some sort of machine when a man in a black coat comes out of nowhere and begins showing him hard.

To his credit, Topuria resisted fighting back twice before a third shove and he reacted back. He’s seen pummeling the unidentified man before several bar patrons, including his friend Spanish singer Omar Montes steps in.

Initial reports seemed to imply that it was Montes and Topuria who were fighting each other, but the original poster clarified it was not between them, but rather they were on the same side.

The video cuts out mid-fight.

Not a lot is known yet about the identity of the attacker or what could have provoked the initial interaction but FanSided will update once more information is known.
