UFC 282: Fighters react to Raul Rosas Jr. becoming the youngest person to win in the UFC

UFC 282: At 18 years old Raul Rosas Jr. became the youngest fighter to win in the UFC.

Raul Rosas Jr. defeated Jay Perrin via submission (rear-naked choke), Round 1 – 2:44 at UFC 282 on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, live from the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV.

Rosas Jr. dominated as soon as the bell sounded, choking out Perrin in less than 3 minutes. Rosas Jr., only turned 18 years old in Octagon became the youngest fighter to ever win a fight in the UFC. Fellow fighters immediately took notice and tweeted out their thoughts.

Several current and former UFC champions tweeted about how impressed they were with Rosas Jr. performance.

Numerous UFC fighters believe Rosas Jr. has incredible star potential and is potentially a future champion.

Alexander Rakic described what many people were thinking, the hype train for Rosas Jr. is only going to get bigger. Good luck not hearing Rosas Jr.’s name going forward.

After Rosas Jr. called for a performance bonus so that he could buy his mother a minivan so that he could get a drive to the UFC Performance Institute, fighters started making jokes.
