Who is Tamires Vidal?
On Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, Tamires Vidal will be making her UFC debut. Live from the UFC APEX, Vidal will be taking on Ramona Pascual in the prelims. Having lost her last two fights, Pascual will look to get back in the win column. Vidal is on a current win streak of five wins, and she will look to extend that to six come Saturday.
Vidal’s last fight came against Queila Braga at LFA 126, back in March of this year. Vidal was victorious with a heel hook and won her first-ever fight in the LFA. Vidal’s current professional MMA record is 6-1, with her only loss coming at the hands of Karol Rosa in just her second-ever professional MMA bout.
Her current five-fight win streak included two wins via submission and one win via disqualification against Ailin Perez. Vidal’s biggest strength is arguably her background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She can also be lethal from the ground with her submission maneuver arsenal.
At UFC Vegas 64, Tamires Vidal looks to make her UFC debut in a big way, knocking off Ramona Pascual.
Coming off an impressive UFC Vegas 63, UFC Vegas 64 looks to surely not be a disappointment. Vidal looks to make her UFC Debut by picking up a win, but she will have a formidable challenge standing in her way in Ramona Pascual. Pascual comes into this fight having lost her last two fights against Josiane Nunes, and more recently against Joselyne Edwards, both by unanimous decision.
Pascual is currently 6-4 in her ten professional MMA fights. While this may look like a winnable fight for Vidal on paper, she can’t underestimate Pascual. Pascual will be eager to get back in the win column, and she could do just that on Saturday against the newcomer.
