Here is the UFC Vegas 63: Calvin Kattar vs. Arnold Allen odds breakdown.

After a stacked card compiled of contenders and consequences in UFC 280, the UFC returns to its home base of the UFC Apex with a highly contingent featherweight matchup between the No. 5 ranked Calvin Katter (23-6) versus the surging No. 6 Arnold Allen (18-1). The 145 lbs. division currently lacks a formidable number one contender, and this main event with a breakout performance from either fighter can separate themselves from the pack and solidify their position in a title fight against the champion, Alexander Volkanovski.

According to WynnBet, the current odds for the main event is close to a pick’em with Kattar at odds of (-105) and Allen at (-115). The fight is slotted to be the closest matchup in terms of odds for Saturday.

Allen will look to continue to keep his undefeated streak in the UFC and extend it to 10 with a win. The Englishmen has struggled fighting multiple times a year due to recurring injuries, and this weekend he’s expecting to change because it will be the first time he’s fought more than once a year since 2019, and before that, 2014. Allen has defeated opponents such as Dan Hooker and Sodiq Yusuff, but Kattar is by far his biggest test to date.

Kattar is eager to bounce back and prove that he’s the next man up for the champion after suffering a controversial and close decision this past June when losing to Josh Emmett. With a history of performing well against respectable contenders such as the likes of Giga Chikadze, Dan Ige, and Shane Burgos, Kattar has struggled to get over the hump when facing the elite of his weight class. Kattar and Allen will be predominantly be stand-up warfare considering both are elite strikers.

Some other highly contested bouts according to the betting odds involve fights that conclude the prelims, Phil Hawes (-175) versus Roman Dolidze (+150), and open up the main card,  No. 13 ranked light heavyweight Dustin Jacoby (-175) versus Khalil Rountree Jr. (+150). The biggest favorite on the card is bantamweight Christian Rodriguez who is closing at (-380), while his opponent is an underdog at (+310).
