UFC Vegas 62: Alexa Grasso vs. Viviane Araujo fight results.

At UFC Vegas 62, UFC flyweights Alexa Grasso and Viviane Araujo will face off at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas for a top women’s flyweight showdown. No. 6-ranked Araujo (11-3) will be facing No. 5-ranked Grasso (14-3) in a bid to climb the flyweight ladder.

This action-packed fight card also features a co-main event between UFC veteran 38-year-old Cub Swanson, against 28-year-old Jonathan Martinez. At UFC Vegas 62, UFC Hall of Famer Swanson will have his first MMA fight at bantamweight, as he moves down from his familiar featherweight division.

Unfortunately, the fight between Askar Askarov and Brandon Royval was canceled after Askarav was unable to make it to the scales.

If you’re around for the 4 p.m. early prelims, be sure to catch the undefeated flyweight prodigy Tatsuro Taira (11-0) at work. At UFC Vegas 62, Taira will face San Antonio native C.J. Vergara (10-3). Taira is a significant favorite at -250 over the 31-year-old Vergara, a Dana White’s Contender Series alumni with a UFC record of 1-1.
