39. Darrius Flowers

LFA vet Darrius Flowers (12-5-1) had one of the most unique TKOs of the season. Early in the first round, Flowers picked up and slammed Amiran Gogoladze awkwardly which resulted in a submission victory. Flowers and Gogoladze were pretty vocal about the outcome afterward on Twitter, as Gogoladze didn’t see it as a legit win. Flowers wants a quick turnaround and is open to fighting at both welterweight and lightweight, though he sees himself taking lightweight more seriously.

38. Karl Williams

Heavyweight Karl Williams (7-1) came into this fight a sizeable underdog against Division I Penn State wrestler Jimmy Lawson but flipped the script and out-wrestled the wrestler on his way to a unanimous decision victory. Williams is looking to get on the UFC Vegas 63 card with his teammates.

37. Clayton Carpenter

Undefeated prospect Clayton Carpenter (6-0) beat Edgar Chairez in a close decision that got the attention of Dana White. Carpenter had an impressive run in the LFA which led to him getting his shot on DWCS and he would like to make his debut at Madison Square Garden. There are many intriguing matchups for Carpenter at flyweight.

36. Jamal Pogues

Jamal Pogues (9-3), a Bellator and LFA vet who trains out of Joe ‘Daddy’ Stevenson’s gym, won a short-notice, hard-fought decision against Paulo Renato to earn the attention of Dana White. This was Pogues’ second shot on the show after earning a decision victory his first time out, but not receiving a contract. Pogues will make his UFC debut at light heavyweight against fellow contract winner Tafon Nchukwi at UFC Vegas 66.

35. Jafael Filho

Nova Uniao’s Jafael Filho (14-2) withstood some devastating leg kicks to finish Roybert Echeverria in the third round. The Brazilian finisher is riding a five-fight win streak that will add to the growing competitiveness of the flyweight division.

34. Jose Johnson

LFA vet Jose Johnson (15-7) got his second chance on DWCS and made the most of it by beating undefeated bantamweight Jack Cartwright by unanimous decision. Johnson looked a lot better here than in his first outing and will make his debut against Vince Morales at UFC Vegas 65.

33. Trevor Peek

Undefeated Trevor Peek (7-0) survived a first-round beating from Malik Lewis before storming back in the second for a TKO win. Peek is a finisher who has knocked out all his opponents and showed adversity in this fight that should make him a fun addition to the lightweight division.

32. Jack Jenkins

Australian Jack Jenkins (10-2) dominated Emiliano Linares up until he scored a TKO in the final minute of the fight. Jenkins is on a seven-fight win streak and looks to keep that going in the competitive featherweight division.
