Twitter reacts to Aaron Pico’s night ends early after a shoulder injury.

Aaron Pico lost via doctor stoppage at 5:00 of round one vs. Jeremy Kennedy at Bellator 286. Early in round one, Pico’s shoulder seemed to pop out, and he was concerned. Kennedy took him down and controlled him, but the story was in the corner after the round.

The Jackson-Wink team worked to try to pop the shoulder back in, but it was becoming more apparent that it may not be a dislocation. However, the doctor seemed concerned about a broken clavicle due to the range of motion issues, forcing the referee to waive off the fight.

Just a horrible result for Pico, trying to re-establish himself as a title challenger after being such a hyped prospect out of the gate.

There was plenty of Twitter talk around the MMA world about Pico’s injury, a mix of disappointment and sympathy.
