Dern looks to extend her winning streak to two and place herself back into the strawweight title picture as a contender. Xiaonan will seek to bounce back after suffering two losses to the champ, Carla Esparza, and contender, Marina Rodriguez. The co-main event for the evening, it’s a battle between the surging “Rudeboy” Randy Brown (15-4) against “Massaranduba” Francisco Trinaldo (28-8). Brown is currently on a three-fight winning streak and with a win against a worthy and veteran opponent like Trinaldo, he should be looking forward enter the top 15 welterweight rankings. Trinaldo, the 44-year-old Brazilian and 10-year UFC veteran is on a winning streak of two and is currently the second biggest underdog on the card at (-315). Brown is a sizeable favorite with odds at (-315).
The largest favorite on the fight card belongs to Sodiq Yusuff at (-900), who faces Don Shainis at odds of (+625). Some other matchups and betting lines that are noteworthy involve heavyweights Ilir Latifi favored at (-175) versus Aleksei Oleinik at (+150), strawweights Jessica Penne who’s an underdog with odds of (+180) facing Tabatha Ricci with a favorable betting line at (-210), and middleweights with a highly contested odds listing Krzysztof Jotko at (-120) and Brendan Allen at (+100).
