Who is Danyelle Wolf?

Danyelle Wolf is a three-time United States boxing champion, a golden glove champion, and is 1-0 in MMA. Wolf previously fought on the Dana White Contender Series where she took on Taneisha Tennant back in September of 2020. She won the fight by unanimous decision.

When Wolf was 25, she started training to become a fighter. She was an athlete her whole life and played just about every sport there was to play but hadn’t gotten into MMA until later on. Wolf was previously scheduled to fight in May of 2021, against Felicia Spencer at UFC Fight Night 188. However, she, unfortunately, had to pull out of the fight due to an undisclosed injury.

Wolf is a boxer through and through. She has a lot of power behind her punches and kicks and can easily get to an opponent with her strikes. However, on top of her incredible power, her opponents will have to worry about her speed and athletic ability which could make for a lethal combination if they’re not careful.

At UFC 279, featherweight Danyelle Wolf will be making her debut as she squares up against Norma Dumont in a featherweight match-up

This Saturday UFC 279 takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The show will be headlined by Nate Diaz vs. Tony Ferguson in what is sure to be a barn burner. Here is where Danyelle Wolf will make her debut against Norma Dumont in a featherweight match-up.

Dumont will be coming into this fight, losing her last fight in May of this year against a very game, Macy Chiasson. With Dumont looking to get back on track, and Wolf looking to make a name for herself in her debut, there is little room for error from both women. Although both women remain unranked, a win could help start their journey to get to that point.
