Claudio Ribeiro snaps Ivan Valenzuela’s head back for a vicious KO.
After the first fight of the night delivered a brutal knockout, the co-main event for week 4 of Dana White’s Contender Series followed suit. Brazil’s Claudio Ribeiro, who is now 10-2 with 10 knockouts, made a statement against Mexico’s Ivan Valenzuela.

Ribeiro entered the cage in good spirits and plenty of dancing en route to the 4th fastest knockout in DWCS history. 25 seconds into the very first round, Valenzuela ate a leg kick which spun him around, and while he attempted a spinning back fist, Ribeiro landed a nasty left hook which snapped Valenzuela’s head back and followed it up with a couple more shots to end the fight. Ribeiro’s finish got the attention of Dana White, as the boss jumped out of his seat.
