Valerie Loureda thinks anyone upset with her post-fight dancing are losers.

Valerie Loureda doesn’t really care what the haters think and isn’t changing that sentiment anytime soon. The rising Bellator star, spoke to FanSided about the backlash she recieved after a video of her dancing after knocking out Tara Graff went viral. The video showed Loureda celebrating her win, much like any other fighter would, but haters came out of the woodwork to criticize the timing. But while there were people upset about the dance, there were many more who supported it.

And that’s what she’s focusing on.

“My TikTok of that got like five million views,” Loureda told FanSided. “On Instagram I blew up, everyone loved it. The people that you are seeing that are upset just like … losers, just people who don’t know how to have fun. I don’t know, the people who are upset about it are losers. And if they are upset about it it’s because they don’t understand the background story of how much I’ve been criticized for doing my TikToks. I’m a well rounded woman. I have two sides of me, two personalities, and I’m not going to change for anybody. This is who I am. I could celebrate however I want because it represents my Latin roots. It represents who Valerie is and at the end of the day, I’m an entertainer. So if they don’t like, they don’t have to watch but there’s millions of people who love watching me and they’re going to keep following me, and I’m going to keep blowing up because the ratio of people who didn’t like it, to the people who love to is like one percent.”

Valerie Loureda wants to make the fans stand up and dance with her

Loureda’s last fight took place in the Bellator bubble, as will her next fight and as the world begins to reopen, she’s been thinking about what it will be like to fight in front of fans again.

“I loved fighting no fans,” she said. “It was like it was at American Top Team sparring in the cage and I could see my corner perfectly and I could hear her corner and like strategy I had against her, and I didn’t have the fans, like kind of pressuring me, because I love, like entertaining right? So when they want something more I kind of like, listen to them. But lately I’ve been sparring at ATT and everyone’s been stopping to watch me, and like I hate the ‘oohs’ and ‘ahhs’ every time I kick and I just realized like, damn, I’m kind of going back and forth. Right now I’m excited to fight no fans because it’s so much more relaxed and I feel less pressure when it’s really not because it’s all live. But I would love to dance with all the fans, and make them stand up and dance with me.”

But before she can even think about what’s ahead, Loureda first has to get past Hannah Guy and she knows exactly how she’s going to do it.

“First round knockout,” she said with confidence.
