Conor McGregor shares hilarious flashback with Justin Gaethje (Photo)
How Justin Gaethje once saw Conor McGregor seems to be much different compared to how he views him now.
Conor McGregor was at it again on social media on April 25, taking shots at whoever he could. And one of those targets of those crosshairs was fellow UFC lightweight Justin Gaethje.
McGregor posted an old photo of him and Gaethje that he discovered on a fan page. According to McGregor, this was still during his time as a featherweight, which means the photo would have happened at some time between 2013 and 2015, while Gaethje was still with the World Series of Fighting (now the Professional Fighters League).
“I didn’t know I ever took a pic with this dweeb,” McGregor said. “Back when I was tearing up the 145 division, I didn’t even know who the f*** this gack eye even was. I’m at this game years, man.”
It appears Tony Ferguson could also be seen in the background, though the picture is a bit too blurry to confirm. McGregor did end his tweet by calling them “Gack eye and el cockeye – Two 155 bums.”

It wasn’t that long ago where McGregor and Gaethje had a spat on Twitter over a potential redesign of the UFC fighter gloves. Gaethje didn’t take too kindly to words McGregor said about his coach, Trevor Wittman.
Even though McGregor and Gaethje have never faced off in the Octagon, the two have had their share of back-and-forth and fight rumors for a while.
Earlier in the day, McGregor also took a shot at current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman and shut down an idea Poirier had ahead of their UFC 264 trilogy bout.
