YouTube star Jake Paul has his next target after knocking out Nate Robinson.

As ridiculous as it may sound, Jake Paul made it clear following his win over Nate Robinson on the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. card — he seriously wants to fight UFC star Conor McGregor.

Paul, a YouTube personality, competed in his second professional boxing match on the card, making easy work of Robinson, a former NBA star who was making his debut, knocking out the former NBA Slam Dunk champion in the second round.

Jake Paul thinks a bout between him and Conor McGregor makes sense

In post-fight comments, Paul said he wasn’t a fan of his performance but felt it was good enough to mention McGregor as an opponent he is heavily interested in. Paul added that while he may not have the MMA or boxing experience like the professional fighters McGregor is used to facing, he has a reach unlike most have.

“I think Conor and I will happen for sure,” Paul said. “People will laugh at that, but what other fighter is calling him out with this big of a platform? I’m trending all 12 trends on Twitter right now. My callout to him has over 10 million views — and it’s been an hour. What other fighter is calling out McGregor like this?”

McGregor has competed in a professional boxing matchup before, losing to Floyd Mayweather in August 2017 — a fight that garnered the second-most bought pay-per-view in the sport. Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao tops the list.

This year, McGregor — in between announcing a third retirement from MMA and signing on for a return to the Octagon at UFC 257 — teased of a potential return to the boxing ring for a showdown with Pacquiao.

Paul says he knows a potential fight with McGregor wouldn’t happen for some time and he’s still new to the combat sports world, so he’ll take fights as they come to improve his game.

Paul, however, did add that he’d be willing to face off with other MMA names such as Ben Askren and Dillon Danis, the latter a teammate of McGregor’s.

“Realistically, it’s not going to happen for a couple of fights. I’m cool with that. I want to knock out everyone in his camp first. Dillon Danis is in his corner, he’s the guy who got punched by Khabib [Nurmagomedov] — that’s what he’s known for — so I’ll take out Dillon Danis first. I want to bring MMA fighters into the boxing ring. That’s my goal.”
