Here are eight recipes involving Conor McGregor’s Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey that you can try out on St. Patrick’s Day.
St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and arguably no fighter represents Irish pride better than former UFC champ-champ Conor McGregor. McGregor’s success, of course, has been more prominent outside the cage in recent times with the development of his Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey.
If you’re looking to try something out on this holiday or want to add a punch to your St. Patrick’s Day (and are of legal drinking age of course), Proper No. Twelve has presented eight recipes that the UFC superstar would approve for your celebration.

Shamrock Out Knockout
1.5 ounce Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
1 cinnamon syrup
3/4 ounce house-made ginger liquor
1/2 ounce lemon
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Directions: Shake into a single rocks glass. Garnished with a dehydrated, cinnamon sugar lemon wheel
Proper Paddy’s Punch
1 Bottle of Proper No. Twelve Whiskey
1 12-ounce can of lemonade
1 cup fresh lemon juice
250 ml red wine
3 lemons, sliced into wheels, for garnish
Directions: In a large punch bowl, add Proper Twelve Whiskey, lemonade, and fresh lemon juice. Refrigerate overnight. Add ice and stir. Top with red wine & lemon slices for garnish
Proper Corner Punch
12 ounces of Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
2 ounces simple syrup
3 ounces fresh lemon juice
6 ounces lemon-lime soda
Directions: In a pitcher with ice, combine Proper No. Twelve, simple syrup, and lemon juice. Stir well, then fill/ top off with lemon-lime soda. Serve in frosted mugs with a lemon wedge.
Proper Bowl of Punch
3 parts Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
8 parts Green Tea
Splash of lemon juice
Splash of ginger ale
The Mad Mac
2 ounces Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
1 part Mexican coffee liqueur
2 scoops mint chocolate ice cream
Directions: Hard shake all ingredients in a tin with crushed ice. strain into 6 oz. Irish coffee glass and serve.
Proper Irish Toddy
2 ounces Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
3/4 ounce lemon juice
1/2 ounce honey syrup
1/4 ounce ginger syrup
5 ounces hot water
Lemon wheel with clove
Shaved cinnamon on top
Dublin 12 Old Fashioned
2 ounces Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
1 bar spoon simple syrup
2 dashes angostura bitters
2 dashes angostura orange bitters
Lemon wedge
Cherry
Directions: In a lowball glass, add Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey, simple syrup and bitters. Add ice to the glass and stir together. Garnish with lemon wedge & cherry
A Proper Coffee
2 ounces Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey
1.5 ounces Boston Harbor coffee liqueur
1-ounce Mandarine Napoleon
.5 ounce Benedictine
Directions: Shake/strain into a Nick and Nora glass. Garnish with hand-whipped cream and coffee beans.
