Las Vegas, NV – The UFC invited the media into its new Apex facility on Tuesday ahead of the season 2 debut of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series and FanSided was there bringing you the whole walk-through live on Facebook.

The facility is home to the new Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series battleground with state-of-the-art production capabilities and seats for up to 1,500 spectators.
The room features cross beams, red and blue elements and a small Octagon.
UFC president Dana White guided the tour while accompanied by UFC Executive Vice President of Operations and Production, Craig Borsari.
Also on had to speak to the media were Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series backstage reporter Laura Sanko, UFC broadcaster Brendan Fitzgerald and UFC lightweight and on-air talent Paul Felder.
The facility features high-end UFC offices for and VIP viewing rooms that will double as talent rooms for non-UFC events which White hopes to hold starting later this year.

The halls are decorated with UFC memorabilia including The Ultimate Fighter shirts, the UFC’s 25th Anniversary Octagon canvas and fan-made artwork.
There are special workout/locker rooms for the athletes and rooms for cutmen, athletic commission and the doctors. There are four small locker rooms and a large room for warm-ups. There will also be a gym, though that has not been built yet.
When completed, the UFC Apex will host a state of the art control room.
Right now there are rooms set aside for backstage production and a soon-to-be-built broadcasting studio.

The first event to be held at UFC Apex will be Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series which takes place live from Las Vegas, NV on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. The episode will air on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass outside of North America.
