23. Matt Damon

Actor Matt Damon is a serious UFC fan, you can clearly tell by the look on his face during UFC 227 when Henry Cejudo defeated Demetrious Johnson to become the new flyweight champion. We were all shocked, including Damon.

Damon isn’t as popular a staple cage side as some other fans, but he showed his fandom another way — with cold hard cash.

The Good Will Hunting star was one of a group of celebrities who were included in the massive $4 billion sale of the promotion in 2016. The group was, of course, headed by WME-IMG, but Damon and many others were also a part of the historic purchase.

Damon is currently filming Ford v. Ferrari and will star alongside Christian Bale while Caitriona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, and Noah Jupe. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Damon is playing Carol Shelby, the eccentric engineer who designs from scratch the Ford GT 40, the car that just may win the 1966 Le Mans race.”

It is expected for a June 2019 release date.

22. Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the most secretive actors in Hollywood. He’s often avoiding paparazzi and laying low in public setting — but he has been spotted sitting cageside. He was photographed watching UFC 196 when Nate Diaz became the first UFC fighter to defeat Conor McGregor. He was also spotted at UFC 197 when former UFC light heavyweigth champion Jon Jones defeated OvinceSaint Preux. It’s safe to say that DiCaprio is a hardcore fan.

He’s such a staple in the sport that EA Sports even added him to the UFC game. Now you can play as DiCaprio and see how he fares against the likes of Tyron Woodley or Daniel Cormier.

DiCaprio was also in attendance when McGregor faced Floyd Mayweather in what was arguably the biggest boxing fight of the year.
