4. Jose Aldo

Jose Aldo was the most dominant featherweight fighter and champion for years, a run that started when he fought in the WEC. The bout that really opened people’s eyes to how great Aldo is was against Cub Swanson, who he knocked out with a double flying knee in eight seconds. He then went on to beat Mike Brown and win the featherweight championship.

Shortly after, he signed with the UFC and continued his dominance in the division, picking up wins over the best fighters in his weight class, including Chad Mendes, Kenny Florian, Frankie Edgar and Ricardo Lamas. Although he recently lost his belt to Conor McGregor, there’s no doubt Jose Aldo is still the best featherweight fighter of all time, and one of the most dominant MMA fighters ever.

3. Jon Jones

Jon Jones has the longest reach in UFC history, but that isn’t the only thing that stands out about him. Everything about Jones is great. He came into the UFC as a great wrestler, but has become one of the most complete MMA fighters ever. His greatness was realized in his man-handling of Stephan Bonnar at UFC 94.

It wasn’t until the night of his win over Ryan Bader at UFC 126 where things really got going for Jones. He fought Shogun Rua a month later and finished him in the third round to capture the light heavyweight belt and make history as the youngest fighter to ever become a champion. From there on out, he’s gone on to defend his belt eight times. If he keeps it going, Jones may go down as the best MMA fighter ever.
