8. Dominick Cruz

Dominick Cruz is, by far, the greatest bantamweight fighter of all time. He’s changed the game when it comes to defense and movement. His footwork is some of the best anyone has ever seen in the sport of MMA and for as many years as he’s been fighting, his opponents still can’t figure out how to neutralize him.

His best days began in the WEC, where he beat fighters like Ian McCall and Joseph Benavidez. He then fought Brian Bowles for the bantamweight title and finished him at the end of the second round. He defended the belt twice in the WEC before moving on over to the UFC. Although he’s had some setbacks because of injuries, which forced him to vacate the belt, Cruz has managed to recover and return to his dominant self.

7. Chuck Liddell

Arguably the best light heavyweight of all time and one of the most popular fighters in MMA history, the Iceman put himself on the map when he knocked out Kevin Randleman at UFC 31. From there on out, he had an extremely successful career in the UFC. Known for his sprawl and brawl style of fighting, Liddell mastered this technique and utilized it in almost all of his fights.

He went on to win the light heavyweight title by knocking out Randy Couture at UFC 52. But the highlight of his career was his rivalry with Tito Ortiz. This is easily the biggest rivalry in UFC history, and they still hate each other to this day. Chuck Liddell will go down as a dominant MMA fighter and one of the best fighters in UFC history.
