No. 10-9

10. Matt Hughes

One of the most dominant welterweights in MMA history. During his prime, Matt Hughes was a hard man to beat. To start off his career, he won 22 of his first 23 bouts before signing with the UFC. In his UFC debut, he had a rematch with the only man to ever beat him, Dennis Hallman. Hallman submitted him in the first round and Hughes was forced to get wins in other promotions before returning to the UFC.

After going on an impressive seven-fight win streak, he once again signed with the UFC and faced Carlos Newton. After knocking him out in the first round, Hughes became the welterweight champion. From here on out, he went on to win against a handful of fighters, such as Georges St. Pierre, BJ Penn, Sean Sherk, Royce Gracie and others. Matt Hughes is one of the best welterweights of all time and one of the best fighters, period.

9. Dan Henderson

Dan Henderson relied on his greco-roman wrestling background when he first started his MMA career. Winning his first nine MMA bouts, he went on to sign with Pride where he found his most success. Although he started off as a wrestler, he developed devastating power in his right hand and whoever he caught with that punch would most likely go down.

Some of his best wins came against Murilo Bustamante, Wanderlei Silva, Vitor Belfort and Rich Franklin. But nobody will ever forget his highlight-reel knockout of Michael Bisping, which is still talked about today. Dan Henderson is a legend in both the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions.
