No. 40-36

40. Mark Coleman

There’s no doubt Mark Coleman is a legend. Known for his powerful wrestling and relentless ground and pound, Coleman was a force inside of the octagon and picked up notable wins against Gary Goodridge, Don Frye and Dan Severn. He also had a great run in Pride, fighting other legends like Big Nog and Fedor Emelianenko.

39. Ben Henderson

A champion in the WEC, Ben Henderson lost his belt to Anthony Pettis right before transitioning to the UFC. It was here where he truly shined, winning three straight fights against Mark Bocek, Jim Miller and then Clay Guida before facing Franki Edgar for the title. He captured the belt in a five round decision and went on to defend the belt three times. One of the best lightweights of all time.

38. Rafael dos Anjos

His run in the UFC didn’t get off to a great start, but it’s been amazing to see Rafael dos Anjos improve right before our eyes. Primarily a grappler at the start, his striking has come a long way throughout his career and he’s picked up wins over some of the best fighters in the division, such as Donald Cerrone, Ben Henderson, Nate Diaz and Anthony Pettis. He is definitely one of the best lightweight fighters of all time.

37. Frank Mir

One of the best heavyweights of all time, Frank Mir has faced some of the best fighters the division has to offer. Possibly one of the greatest Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners in the heavyweight division, Mir has submitted Big Nog, Tim Sylvia (a win that secured him the heavyweight title), and Brock Lesnar. He’s also showcased a very underrated striking game with knockout wins over Bigfoot Silva, Mirko Cro Cop and Todd Duffee.

36. Renen Barao

Just two years ago, Renen Barao was considered by many to be the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet. He lost his very first MMA fight but then went on to win more than 30 fights in a span of 10 years. He managed to capture the bantamweight title and beat fighters like Urijah Faber, Eddie Wineland and Michael MacDonald. Easily one of the most successful bantamweight fighters of all time.
